**The Role**
The APS 5 Inventory Manager is a critical leadership position in managing and monitoring Inventory storage, demand satisfaction and pool management to meet the demands of our dependents and customers, and industry partner compliance and assurance within Business Process Monitoring.
The role plays a key interface between the Industry Partners, Ventia and Linfox, and W&D Manager on capability performance delivery and relationship management. This position remains a key planning, governance and assurance role for W&D performance.
**About our Team**
Inventory management comprises the activities required to manage a diverse inventory and ensure Defence assets and inventory are available for use when required to support the Defence mission.
You will work as part of an integrated team of APS, ADF and industry partners to deliver efficient and customer centric inventory management and warehousing outcomes to our regional and national customer base.

Ideally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
