Melbourne, Australia Arup Full time

Do you want to make a positive impact on the world? Sustainable development is at the heart of everything we do.
Seventy-five years ago, we created a home for creative thinkers seeking to solve the world’s biggest challenges. Today, a collective of 16,000+ Arupians gather across the globe from 140 different countries to build a sustainable future.
At Arup, you’ll do more than work — you’ll shape a better world.

**About this role**
Do you find purpose in connecting the digital with the physical world? As a Reality Capture Consultant you’ll join our Digital Service Team, which is at the forefront of digital advisory and delivery for the Australian Construction sector. This is a rare opportunity to join a team that has work both locally and internationally on flagship projects across both public and private sector clients. Your primary role will be to act as a Reality Capture Modelling Consultant responsible for the creation of the ‘Scan-to-BIM’ Structural & Architectural models from the site-based data acquisition, either Point Cloud or Photogrammetry Outputs. This will involve collaborating with the design and construction teams across all project phases and ensuring the coordination, issues and actions are resolved by the project team and incorporated into Federated Models.

**What will I do?**
- Work on the digital delivery of projects involving Reality Capture as a starting point.
- Integrate/create Revit models using appropriate Arup or Project standards.
- Collaborate with the design and construction teams across all project phases and ensuring data coordination.
- Audit and support adherence to the information requirements outlined in the BIM Execution Plan
- In our industry, we need to be agile to help support projects in other parts of the business. Your role will also involve providing direct BIM support for traditional project delivery when required.

**What will I bring?**
- A sound understanding of the construction industry, standard practices and digitally enabled workflows using BIM and other associated technologies.
- Qualifications (or relevant Industry experience) in BIM, Architecture, Engineering or Construction.
- Proficiency in Revit, ideally skilled with Navisworks, Solibri, Revizto
- Experience establishing automated digital workflow-based processes and procedures - such a 3D Scan verification of Models.
- Strong analytical skills, able to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and assure quality of outcomes

**Our firm**
Dedicated to sustainable development, the firm is a collective of 16,000 designers, advisors and experts working across 140 countries. Founded to be both humane and excellent, we collaborate with our clients and partners using imagination, technology and rigour to shape a better world.

We create spaces where everyone feels safe, seen and included and able to perform at their best. We take an approach to flexible working that supports the diversity and well-being of our members.

**Are you ready to shape a better world?**
- Arup does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies._
