Rosebank College has a proud and varied history of over 150 years as part of the Good Samaritan family established in 1857, and belonging to the Benedictine spiritual and educational tradition founded by St Benedict in the 4th century. The College belongs to the community of ten schools across Australia called Good Samaritan Education (GSE). **About the Role**

A school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College, seeks expressions of interest for a permanent full-time Assistant Mathematics Coordinator (1.0FTE) position to support the Mathematics Coordinator and Faculty from the commencement of 27 January 2026. This (1) one-point leadership role will work collaboratively with the Mathematics Coordinator, Mathematics faculty members, and across all year groups, undertaking responsibilities within the team as required by the Coordinator and Dean of Learning.

Applicants for this position must be highly effective leaders, effective classroom practitioners, dedicated team players interested in the care and welfare of students, and skilled in teaching Mathematics to equip them to contribute to the College’s educational program in teaching and learning. Applicants must also be skilled in using educational technology in the classroom. This position will allow a creative and passionate teacher to flourish.

**About You**

To be considered for this position, you must be a highly dedicated professional who meets the following criteria:

- Experience as a highly effective, innovative, and motivated educator across all Stages of the curriculum (4, 5, and 6)
- Ability to Teach Extension Mathematics (highly desirable)
- A minimum of 3 or more years of leadership experience with a focus on driving student learning, engagement, and growth
- Contribute to the College's learning culture as a member of the College's Curriculum Leadership Team (CLT)
- Demonstrated success in driving achievement and growth in the HSC
- Proven ability to foster a collaborative, research, and data-driven approach to excellence in teaching and learning
- Understand and show commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching.
- Possess proven ability to incorporate modern technologies into their teaching practice and convey passion for classroom innovation.
- Proven capacity to lead and develop a dynamic team
- A track record of being approachable and empathetic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check
- A commitment to the child safeguarding principles
- Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College
