**Position Information**:
Bankstown Girls High School is a comprehensive secondary school established in 1960, located in Sydney's Southwest. Our student population of 570 girls reflects a diverse range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Notably, 98% of our students come from non-English speaking backgrounds, and 30% require varying levels of support in English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D). We cater for students at all achievement levels including high potential and gifted students.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach Food Technology and approval to teach or preparedness to undertake VET teacher training in Hospitality-Food and Beverage (VHF) providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.

- Demonstrate ability to work as a collaborative member of the TAS faculty and contribute to faculty programs and resources.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
