A day in the life: *
The Research Manager will work alongside the Head of Research and research team to execute the research roadmap (RR). They will work closely with several teams throughout the PEXA Insights business and broader PEXA group in delivering regular research insights, products and reports.**
**Key Accountabilities**
- Seek direction from Head of Research.
- Manage research projects end-to-end from research design to delivering the final product.
- Provide analytical and research support to D&A and product teams as required.
- Execute on the delivery of RR, using the Product Development Framework, which follows the “Discover, Define, Design &, Delivery” framework.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the RR by socializing ideas for new research, evolving existing research and influencing the way programs are delivered.
- Produce research insights, which includes analyzing PEXA and third-party data, writing commentary which summates the key insights derived from the data.
- Input into new ways research programs can be distributed to increase engagement with stakeholders, i.e. web-based, interactive products.
- Keep abreast of news and knowledge on economic, policy, property and mortgage intelligence.
- Engage with research partners to explore external collaboration opportunities, as supported by Head of Research
- Develop a map of third-party data sources to be acquired by the Data Business.
- Support D&A and commercial teams with the procurement and ingestion of data sets.
- Adhere to PEXA values and demonstrate these values day to day
**Skills and Experience**
- Atleast 5+ years of relevant experience in property data and research/ related fields
- Advanced grasp of statistics and mathematics.
- Solid understanding of fundamental macro-economics.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Advanced understanding of other data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python and R.
- Ability to distil key insights from data analysis and convey narrative to different audiences.
