We are seeking dedicated and compassionate **Disability Support Workers** with **mental health experience** to join our growing team in **Balaclava, Victoria**. In this role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals living with disabilities, with a strong focus on those who experience complex mental health challenges.

You’ll assist participants in achieving their goals, gaining independence, and engaging with their community. If you're passionate about making a difference and thrive in a supportive, professional environment, we’d love to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
- Implement individual support and behaviour plans
- Support clients with mental health conditions in a respectful and trauma-informed way
- Assist with community access, social engagement, and recreational activities
- Encourage skill development and independence
- Maintain accurate notes, incident reports, and communications
- Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals

**What We’re Looking For**

Minimum 1 year of experience in disability or mental health support
Understanding of mental health conditions and person-centred care
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services
Valid **NDIS Worker Screening Check**
Valid **Working with Children Check (WWCC)**
**First Aid & CPR** Certification
Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (as per government health guidelines)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.05 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
