Santa doesn’t work alone, he needs a trusty team of Mrs. Claus’, his Helpers, and photographers to make Christmas Magic.

Full time (40hrs)

Short term contract (August - December)

**Main duties**:

- End to end recruitment and onboarding and placement of 250 photographic staff across Australia
- Manage staff qualification compliance
- Book appropriate training venues
- Co-ordinate the management of rosters for up to 800 staff
- Data management and reporting documentation

**Skills/Experience and Qualification Required**:

- Excellence with Excel
- Strong communications skills with a wide range of people
- Independent worker
- Ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and a hands-on approach
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Experience in managing a large team preferred
- Experience with retail/hospitality rostering preferred

**The Offer**:

- Salary $28-$35 p/h depending on previous experience and qualifications
- Short term contract - 5 months, 31st of July ‘22 - 24th December ‘22
- Up to 40 additional hours to be worked between 23rd of January ‘23 - 3rd February ‘23
- Weekend work maybe required
- Full time (The standard hours of work are 40 per week. This includes 38 ordinary hours and 2 reasonable additional hours)
- Worked to be completed in the office and from home as the role requires.

**Tasks: (to be completed directly or with support from HR Assistant and Director of Operations)**
- Create recruitment and onboarding timeline in line with project requirements - set targets and report on progress
- Write and post job advertising - revising and editing as required
- Identify avenues/platforms to source staff - with budget approval - online/universities/community organisations
- Interview - create interview questions/template to ensure suitable recruitment
- Ensure understanding of relevant award/s for each position
- Understand the contractual obligation associated with each role and be able to communicate these clearly to applicants/employees
- Distribute contracts
- Manage onboarding of all staff (with assistance) - training/qualifications/uniform
- Co-ordinate staff communication
- Competent use of Deputy and EdApp software packages
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders and staff to ensure that shifts are filled in accordance with Myer Contract and Award requirements
- Ensure that timesheets are completed and submitted correctly
- Follow up any timesheet queries with relevant staff
- Make sure every shift is covered
- Book training venues Nationally
- Book flights
- Attend training sessions in VIC/NSW/QLD and potentially SA and WA
- Pack and Distribute Uniforms from Applause office
- Primary contact for all Photography staff
- Document processes for review purposes
