**The Role**

Responsible for effectively compiling accurate ‘Bill of Quantities’ ensuring all materials and resources required are sourced from the ‘Price Book’ and scheduled in line with the construction plan. The role will be accountable for liaising with suppliers to ensure the ordering of materials, including on-site extras are delivered to site to support the build process and achieve build targets.

**Key responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Effectively compile accurate Bill of Quantities ensuring all materials and resources required are sourced from the ‘Price Book’ and in line with construction plans;
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure material orders (including on-site extras) are delivered to site within specified time frames and correct quantities to achieve build targets;
- Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers and sub-contractors and check invoices for price matching;
- Provide timely communications with Construction Supervisors to support the build process and achieve build targets, including assisting with any variations to plans, materials and delivery times;
- Monitor the progress of the construction projects through the works management system (Click Homes) to update and complete tasks for appropriate action in line with timeframes;
- Resolve issues related to Scheduling and when necessary escalate to the appropriate Manager for resolution; and
- Schedule Display Homes as required.

**To be considered for the role, you will have**:

- Proven ability to read and interpret plans;
- Exceptional communication skills and a can do attitude;
- Experience in using a range of computer systems (DataBuild and MS Office desirable);
- Strong organisation and time management skills;
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction (highly desirable)
- Current police clearance, or willingness to obtain one
