Credit Risk Analyst - Sydney

Credit is an essential component within Convera and is extended to almost 6000 clients. It is a key factor in allowing Convera to both win and retain clients. The Credit department is responsible for the management and allocation of this credit within the guidelines of the Convera Global Credit Policy. The Credit department is responsible for all facets of the credit process, initial allocation, review, exception management, exposure management, monitoring, reporting and collections.
The Credit Risk Analyst role supports the Credit Manager in managing the credit risk across ANZ. The primary function of the role will be to undertake credit assessment of new clients and review existing customers to establish/assess the provision of acceptable credit terms in accordance with ‘The Policy’.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Annual review of existing Financials Clients as and when due.
- Provide written credit assessments of new clients in a timely manner and within established SLAs
- Adhering to the credit policy guidelines at all times
- Ensuring a high standard of written credit assessment
- Assist with adhoc project work and reporting requirements as directed by the Manager
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service to internal and external parties.
- Preparation of Credit reports for credit & Risk monitoring.
- This is a hybrid role, split between our Sydney CBD office, and wfh
- At least 1-2 years B2B credit analysis experience gained in a financial institution or an Australian bank.
- Good understanding of the Australian SME and/or Corporate Market
- Competent in analysing financial statements and financial ratios
- Confidently able to make credit decisions
- Computer literate (intermediate skills in Word and Excel)

Desirable
- Understanding and exposure to Foreign Exchange
- Understanding and use of ASIC and Equifax
- Usage of Salesforce and its report creating functions.

- Ensure that work is done accurately and thoroughly with adherence to the policy.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with all levels (Dealers and Senior Management)

- Good problem solving
