**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
PERSOLKELLY have partnered with a large manufacturing company that operate nationally. There is an opening for a Credit Risk Manager to join on a Permanent basis.

The Credit Risk Manager is responsible for the risk assessment of new and existing companies/customers and establishing their credit limits. You will have ownership over this area and manage a team of 4 Credit Risk Analysts.

**YOUR DUTIES**:

- Proactive management of credit limits to approval including negotiating and managing security arrangements
- Conduct client visits nationally meeting owners/officers of major clients to cover high risk, cash-flow, growth potential and maintain/grow the client relationship
- Manage a team of 4 Credit Risk Analysts, providing leadership, guidance and direction to deliver efficient and sound outcomes to the business and external customers
- Responsible for ensuing all controls are adhered to within the Risk Team
- Analysis and re-assessment of credit worthiness of customers based on re-evaluation triggers and timelines
- Conduct regular meetings with business units to review portfolio risk, ensuring credit analysis representation and participation on each business unit credit committee
- Negotiate and approve refinancing of Overdue Debts
- Manage litigation, special collection efforts and strategy including the interaction with both internal and external legal and collections agencies
- Provide Sales team with policy interpretation and guide the business on sound credit management

**PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5 years experience in a Credit Management/Risk role
- Strong financial analysis skills - credit and balance sheet analysis - essential
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to make tough decisions and implement action steps to resolve credit issues
- Strong time management skills
- Analytical mindset
