We are a major Australian Electrical Contracting Company looking for an Electrical Apprentice (a pre-apprentice up to 4th year apprentice will be considered) who takes pride in their work with excellent customer service and communication skills.

The position is based in Perth however, the successful applicant must be prepared to travel and work outside of the metropolitan region as and when required.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a current WA Electrical Training Licence.
- Work within the restrictions of your WA Electrical Training Licence.
- Maintain other current licences and inductions (and work within their restrictions) as deemed necessary to perform your duties.
- Participate in Risk Assessments and abide by Company OHS procedures
- Ensure access to and work areas are safe and that material, labour, and appropriate documents are available.
- Ensure the right tools are used and advise Supervisor or Foreperson of any deficiencies in their availability.
- Ensure material, plant and equipment are correctly stored and handled.
- Be part of a disciplined and professional team.
- Be self-motivated, problem solver with drive & fitness to meet the needs of a fast-paced job.
- Participate in toolbox meetings at regular intervals with all staff.
- Report all accidents and incidents as soon as possible to your Department Manager or Supervisor or Foreperson. Do not interfere with installation or apparatus after the accident other than to make safe.
- Ensure all Group Safety and live work policies are followed.
- Travel and work outside the Perth Metro area and interstate when required.
- Complete any relevant training if requested by the company.
- Must be willing to work overtime/ shift work.
