**About the Role: Area Manager**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee the exceptional delivery of operational and regulatory standards across a portfolio of early learning services. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive enrolments, enhance profitability, and ensure that each service operates in alignment with Montessori Academy’s philosophy, policies, and the National Quality Standards (NQS).

You’ll lead and support Nominated Supervisors, empowering them to achieve excellence in their roles while maintaining compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations and compliance across multiple childcare services.
- Guide and mentor Nominated Supervisors to achieve high performance.
- Monitor enrolments and drive business growth.
- Ensure services adhere to the National Quality Framework, including NQS and EYLF.
- Support effective family communication and engagement.
- Manage staffing, rosters, and resource allocation efficiently.

**Key Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of industry legislation, compliance, and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Solid business and management acumen.
- Passion for early learning and a commitment to delivering quality education.
- Understanding of the Montessori philosophy (preferred, but not essential).

**Essential Criteria**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing multiple childcare services.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (approved by ACECQA) or currently working towards this qualification.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Availability to work shifts between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- In-depth understanding of the National Quality Framework, NQS, and EYLF.
