Your goal will be to drive business opportunities that achieve revenue growth of all Packaged Products in your region. These opportunities will broadly cover two areas - account management and new business development. With quality service at the core of everything you do, you will take a relationship focus to your work and extend that support to your customers when needed.

**About the role**:
In this role you will:

- Positively influence safety and sustainability at Cement Australia, complying with safety standards and policies
- Account manage a portfolio of customers and prospect for new business opportunities, maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities within the region
- Increase profitability of your portfolio by effective price and product management
- Ensure customers have account plans that add value to them and support retention
- Represent Cement Australia at promotional events, customer training and product demonstrations
- Understand, monitor and report customer and industry trends, business drivers and competitor activity to develop effective Key Account Plans and market strategies
- Review and act on feedback from customer satisfaction questionnaires to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer relationships

**About you**:

- Previous experience in an equivalent sales role, preferably within mining, industrial or hardware environments
- Business to Business or Business to Consumer experience
- Proven experience establishing, maintaining, engaging and influencing customers at all levels
- Well developed selling and negotiation skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to work autonomously with a team focus
- Understanding of strategic account management and supply management
- Flexibility for overnight travel as required
