The Caretaker will undertake a range of trade, repair and maintenance works both interior and exterior, including but not limited to basic carpentry work, leaks and simple electrical fixes, rudimentary painting jobs, pressure washing, roofing, gutter & window and door ad hoc repairs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for over site cleanliness and property presentation
- A variety of cleaning duties including but not limited to -vacuuming, mopping, dusting and spot cleaning all common areas
- Gardening and grounds maintenance, as well as the removal of all rubbish
- Attend to minor maintenance /handyman type duties e.g. replacement of light globes, patching wall, minor paint works etc.
- To report and liaise with Ikon management on any matters that require escalation as well as the day-to-day management of the site.
- Report any issues to body corporate and committee and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and/or procedures
- Provide exceptional customer services and build a strong relationship with the customer, having service excellent at the forefront at all times
- Provide quotes and take photos for additional works/repairs as required

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**:

- **Trade qualifications desirable**:

- Working with Childrens check
- Current National Police check
- White Card
- Working at Heights certificate
- 5 years’ experience in a Handyperson or similar role
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions
- Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible manner and part of a team
- Impeccable communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties with mínimal supervision
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
- Be self-motived and show initiative in the delegated areas of responsibility
- A willingness to comply with all IKON’s policies and procedures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $62,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
