**In this Associate Director role, you will**
- Provide technically sound and commercial accounting advice for complex accounting issues and transactions.
- Assess the impact of proposed new accounting standards to the Group.
- Represent the Group in the financial reporting community and influence accounting standard setters in the best interest of the Group.
- Play a key role in the design and preparation of the Group's half-year and full-year external financial reporting to ensure compliance with the Corporations Act and accounting standards.
- Review Group and subsidiary financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

**What you will bring**
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and CA/CPA qualification.
- Extensive experience in a technical accounting role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong technical expertise in Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Advanced quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of financial services businesses and products.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
