**About the organisation**:
Lutheran Services is a not-for-profit organisation that has been serving the people and communities of Queensland since 1935. They provide quality, contemporary support services for older people, young people and their families, people living with a disability or mental illness, and families experiencing domestic violence and hardship. Today, they serve many metropolitan, regional, and rural communities from more than 20 sites throughout Queensland-from Tallebudgera to Rockhampton.

**About the Role**:
This position will work in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Leads in the Executive Leadership of the entire organisation. The Executive Lead, Property & Assets is responsible for ensuring that property, building, plant and equipment assets are of an appropriately high standard to ensure that the Lutheran Service’s built environment is fit for purpose, compliant with legislation and ensures the spaces our clients live in and visit, meet their needs and allow their employees to deliver great services that brighten lives.

You will ensure all assets are proactively and reactively maintained and renewed and that the optimal life cycle of assets are achieved. Responsibilities include the strategic pursuit of growth opportunities, whilst actively managing the delicate balance between renovation/renewal and demolition/rebuild.

**You should have the following background/attributes**:

- Significant experience in large capital development, deployment and all aspects of facilities management operations
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or trade based equivalent
- Exceptional leadership skills and a proven record of successful management of teams to achieve objectives
- Proven management experience at a senior level
- Ability to leverage data to inform opportunities and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated financial management success including the development and management of budgets
- Prior experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
- Proven ability to develop and implement quality strategies, operational action plans, policies, reports and procedures and conduct research and analysis

This role will suit an experienced Property / Asset Management professional with a Bachelor or Post Graduate degree in an appropriate business related discipline or trade equivalent.
