We are looking for a Supervisor to join our team to coordinate on-site OHW and electrical teams to deliver relevant scopes of work in accordance with project plans and specifications to achieve effective performance in accordance with detailed short term programs and schedules within the designated time and budget. Implement site safety, quality and environment control and identify and assess potential risks.

Specific Responsibilities of the role include:

- Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.
- Contribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work.
- Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Superintendent or Project Manager
- Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs including budgets and the implications of directions within your authority limits
- Collecting data, performing tests and complex calculations, graphing results, and preparing charts and tabulations relating to electrical OHW clearances, heights, staggers, radial, dynamic and tension loads
- Inspecting and diagnosing electrical components associated with OHW, finding solutions, and formulating a methodology to repair the electrical components of the OHW system to conform with regulations and safety requirements
- Read, understand and prepare plans, drawings and diagrams for electrical installations, review design documentation, read drawings, and provide constructive review and implementing of final designs
- Ensure contractual mechanisms of subcontractors
- Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to build a risk management culture.
- Ensure compliance with designs and finished products are within specifications and regulations
- Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, OHW Systems, switchgear, cabling systems, OHLE foundations and motor controlled HV switch systems

To be successful in this key role, you must have:

- Trade Qualification or similar.
- 2-5 years previous construction experience in a similar role eg, Electrical Engineering Technician or Line Mechanic
- Substantial Industry experience in Trade and Construction
- Technical competency and understanding in the area that supervising
