**Your next career opportunity**
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in the simulation of amorphous materials, with a focus on metallic glass nanoparticles. You will leverage your expertise in molecular dynamics simulations to calculate vibrational properties and predict surface plasmon resonances, contributing to the development of innovative nanomaterials. Embedded within a larger collaborative effort, you will work closely with experimentalists, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- **Conduct Molecular Dynamics Simulations**:Perform simulations of metallic glass nanoparticles, calculate vibrational properties, and predict surface plasmon resonances.
- **Collaborate with Experimentalists**:Work closely with researchers in a larger effort to develop new metallic glass nanomaterials.
- **Publish Research Findings**:Contribute to the preparation and publication of high-impact scholarly articles.
- **Supervise and Mentor Students**: Co-supervise and provide training to research students.

**You may be a great fit if**:
You are an accomplished researcher with expertise in molecular dynamics simulations and a passion for exploring the frontiers of amorphous materials.

**You may also**:

- Possess a PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a related discipline.
- Have demonstrated experience in molecular dynamics simulations of materials.
- Exhibit strong scientific programming and data analysis skills.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication abilities in English.
- Thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to independently drive research projects to completion.
