**About the Role**

We are seeking a Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow to join the Mindful Centre for Training and Research in Developmental Health within the Department of Psychiatry.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead and shape the autism research program at Mindful, which has a strong history of collaboration with the Department of Health in mental health workforce initiatives around autism training and service delivery. The role provides an opportunity to influence future autism service delivery in Victoria.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead and design research activities for the Mindful Autism Program.
- Design quantitative and qualitative research to capture the experience of stakeholders.
- Evaluation and understand impact of Mindful’s autism training in a workforce capacity.

**Who We Are Looking For**

**Research Fellow**:
You will possess a PhD, or be working towards one, or hold an Honours or Masters qualification in a relevant discipline, combined with a record of research publications and presentations.

With experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, you will demonstrate the ability to collaboratively engage with various stakeholders in health services and academia, particularly within mental health and autism sectors.

Experience in the preparation of research proposal submissions to external funding bodies, will be beneficial.

Your advanced communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively build and maintain established stakeholder relationships. You will have the capacity to work both independently and as a supportive team member

**Senior Research Fellow**:
In addition to the Research Fellow requirements above, you must hold a PhD in a field relevant to public health, psychology, allied health, social work, medicine, or nursing, coupled with a strong record of research excellence, including peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.

Your experience will include preparing and successfully securing funding through research proposals to external bodies, and you will have a demonstrated ability to manage significant research objectives and programs effectively.
