**Position Overview**:
As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Bentwood Fitzroy. You will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a positive work environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and organised individual to make a significant impact on a well-established and beloved cafe.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate all cafe activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Manage and lead a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and front-of-house personnel.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures for food and beverages.
- Create and update staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update the menu.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the cafe.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and a passion for the coffee culture.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
