We are looking for AHPRA-registered Emergency Medicine Specialists/Consultants (FACEM) to join an expanding team. About the Role

You'll work in a busy, well-equipped Emergency Department seeing ~57,000 patients per year, including 28% paediatric cases. The ED includes:

  • A Fast Track area
  • A 12-bed Short Stay Unit
  • An increasing acuity and admission rate

This role balances hands-on patient care with clinical leadership, teaching, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality emergency care across all age groups
  • Provide leadership and mentorship in a multidisciplinary team
  • Support the education and development of junior medical staff
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical practices and patient outcomes
What You'll Need
  • Fellowship (or eligible for fellowship) with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM)
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills
  • Leadership experience within emergency or trauma settings
  • Commitment to teaching and clinical education
  • Experience with clinical governance or quality improvement
