In this role, you will coordinate the overall digital portfolio across Sales, Marketing, Product and Development. You will also be responsible for the end to end delivery of the digital portfolio, proactively balancing scope, budget, risks, outcomes and benefits.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Tracking statuses of project deliverables and milestones
- Delivery risk and issue monitoring and co-ordination
- Coordination of governance and regular portfolio level reporting
- Work closely with Project Managers and Global Portfolio Management Office to ensure alignment with the wider change portfolio and the Group Strategy, Values and Behaviours.
- Ensure compliance with internal control standards and Group compliance policy.
- Empower teams to collaborate and make effective decisions promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery and continuous improvement
- Manage change initiatives and manage stakeholder and senior management relationships working directly with various stakeholders across multiple geographies, such as Product Owners, Business Analysts, Process Designers, IT
- The jobholder is expected to exercise independent initiative and judgment in proactively overcoming obstacles to success, dealing with uncertainty and changing circumstances, such as interdependencies, opportunities or risks.
- Ensure stakeholder communications on the project status throughout its lifecycle maintaining robust
- Adopt an agile and flexible approach to work and an outstanding level of professionalism and conduct.
- Identify problems and implement solutions, making decision on sound rational judgement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 years+ proven experience working as a Portfolio Manager or within the Delivery management function
- Experience of working in a banking environment within large, complex change projects
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders based on a good understanding of their business objectives and the services they require to meet those objectives
- Ability to help drive deliveries in line with the business objectives
- Experience in working with diverse teams across different work streams
- Examples of the delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes
- Strong Stakeholder management and demonstrate successfully the ability to conduct impactful communication, influencing, running portfolio governance, implementation, change management and benefits realisation
- Ability to influence and negotiate across all levels
- Ability to think laterally and innovatively and find creative solutions, with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent skills on Confluence and JIRA management
