We’re on the hunt for a **Direct** **Account Executive** to join our **Sales team** based in **Adelaide**.

**About the role**:
Our newest** Direct** **Account Executive **will report into the General Sales Manager and Head of Direct Sales. You will join a high-performing and collaborative team that works hard and fast to grow and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence buy-in. With access to SCA's product suite, including; **LiSTNR**, **SoundCloud**, the **Hit** and **Triple M** networks, you will ensure that you leverage all possible revenue opportunities to meet your monthly targets.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by tailoring presentations to client specific needs and a pro-active approach to maximising revenue through customer focused selling.
- Proactively prospect and search for new clients and business opportunities.
- Competent and confident in cold calling new clients not currently with Southern Cross Austereo.
- Proactive and comfortable with attending business networking events
- To consistently achieve and exceed sales and market share targets within the allocated portfolio of Direct / SME clients.
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts of achievement to budgets and goals.
- Maintain and grow client portfolio within the Direct/SME businesses.
- Pro-actively maximise revenue opportunities through identifying clients marketing challenges and working with internal resources to provide solutions.
- Pro-actively identify and establish clear goals and plans for key and target accounts in line with the Customer Focused Selling service principles of account list management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
**Experience we’re looking for**:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence.
- Experience determining client’s needs and designing tailored solutions (ideally, within the media or advertising industry).
- Strong negotiation skills and able to ensure value is maximised for both clients and the business.
- Excellent presentation skills, ability to engage and influence target audience.
- High levels of drive and ambition, capable of working autonomously and managing own time effectively.
- High level of self-motivation, resilience, and tenacity.
- Genuinely passionate about chasing sales.
- 2-3 years of business to business selling experience with consistent and proven results.
- 2-3 years’ experience in new business development with consistent and proven results.
