- We’re looking for an energetic and motivated Maintenance Officer to perform hands on maintenance activities at St George’s - Altona Meadows. This role requires to have previous building maintenance experience.
- As an experienced Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for routine building and grounds maintenance. You will reporting to the Property Infrastructure Manager will ensure to maintain a safe and attractive living environment for our residents.

**A typical day will have you**:

- Undertake hands on general ad hoc maintenance tasks across the building and grounds
- Maintain compliance with a daily task list, scheduled building and grounds maintenance program
- Coordinate contractors for relevant work
- Maintain a safe and attractive living environment for residents within set guideline
- Ensure the residential home is always presented to a high standard
- Work collaboratively with the Residential Aged Care leaders and teams to deliver exceptional resident and community experience of the home

**We’re looking for someone with**:

- Certificate/experience in a relevant trade
- Extensive experience in a broad range of maintenance skills and have knowledge of building and grounds maintenance are essential
- Experience using computers along with comprehensive and electronic building and maintenance management programs
- Background in planned preventative maintenance program and document to fulfil Government and other regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of OH&S regulations and have a commitment to its implementation
