**The Role**

As Safety Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Driving safety culture and encouraging best practice across the site.
- Developing, reviewing and maintaining the Health and Safety Management system.
- Conducting training and presentations for health & safety matters.
- Conducting safety audits and identifying risks.
- Developing initiatives to promote Health & Safety improvement strategies across the business.
- Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adhere to regulations.

**Your Background**

In order to be successful in this role, you will:

- Have extensive experience leading safety across a large manufacturing environment.
- Have a strong track record in driving a safety culture across the business, ideally having previously lead a team within the function.
- Have a thorough understanding of OH&S legislation and the ability to educate and train.
