- The Permissions Lead will lead the coordination of permissions delivery within a DEECA region and work collaboratively to inform and deliver permissioning reform across the Conservation Regulator.
- A key leadership position within the Regional Regulatory Operations Unit, this position works with the Manager Regulatory Operations and Regulatory Program Manager to deliver effective and efficient regional permissions on a risk basis.
- Key activities of the position include:

- Evaluating permissions to determine assessment needs
- Ensuring a sound case management approach to permissioning work
- Supporting a risk-based approach to compliance monitoring
- Undertaking permissioning assessments
- Identify opportunities for permissions reform
- Assisting in designing reforms

**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Knowledge and understanding of conservation regulatory legislation, policy and the planning and delivery of compliance

**This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position varies, with hybrid work arrangements available.**
