This role is pivotal in driving our technology uplift across Retail Salesforce squads, ensuring our solutions are modern, scalable, and aligned with our architectural vision.

As a Technical Lead, you’ll be the bridge between architecture and engineering, guiding teams through best practices, championing innovation, and ensuring delivery excellence. You’ll work hands-on with emerging technologies, influence design decisions, and help shape the future of digital insurance at Zurich.

You will also be responsible for the following:

- Lead the technology uplift across squads, representing architecture and engineering chapters.
- Design and own end-to-end technical solutions, including interface contracts and sequence diagrams.
- Drive engineering excellence through DevSecOps, automation, and continuous delivery practices.
- Ensure alignment with architectural guardrails and chapter roadmaps.
- Mentor teams on best practices including code reviews, testing, performance, and security.
- Deliver high-quality, production-ready software that meets customer and business outcomes.

You’re a hands-on technical leader with a passion for modern engineering practices and a drive to make a real impact. You thrive in collaborative, agile environments and are excited by the opportunity to shape the future of digital insurance.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with leadership exposure.
- Proficiency across the tech stack—frontend, backend, cloud (AWS), infrastructure, and databases.
- Strong understanding of API and event-driven architectures, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Salesforce Consultant or Architect certification.
- Experience in agile, collaborative delivery environments, ideally within insurance or financial services.
