Macquarie Park, Australia Orthopaedic Surgeon at Bella Vista and Macquarie Park NSW Full time

We are looking for an exceptional full time medical receptionist with experience for an immediate start across our Norwest Private Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital practice locations. Working in a fast paced, dynamic environment you will be supported by a team of friendly reception staff and clinical staff.

This position is based across two consulting room locations at Norwest Private Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital.

Main responsibilities:

- General administration duties including answering of high volume phones calls, scanning, filing, photocopying, attaching documents to patients’ files, receiving and actioning faxes.
- Prepare, Open and close consultation clinics as per set procedure, greet patients for their appointments
- Manage the appointment schedule
- Take payment of surgery and consultation fees and issue invoices/receipts as required.
- Liaise with Workcover/Third Party insurers for consultation approvals.
- Opportunity to expand skills and career path as the clinic grows.
- Attend to account queries if possible or refer problem to Practice Manager.
- To exercise confidentiality in regard to patient care and all aspects of the practice.
- Escalate clinical enquiries to our clinical team.

- ability to multi task in an extremely busy environment while also meeting deadlines
- Moderate level of skill using excel spreadsheets
- demonstrated ability to work in small, tight knit team environment
- ability to maintain composure while working with challenging personalities
- flexibility with start/finishing times over various locations of our practice and the very occasional Saturday - this is not a regular requirement but for covering of leave for our monthly Saturday clinic.
- an understanding of medicare and private health system in Australia
- unrestricted rights to work in Australia

Desirable
- Experience with Genie Medical Software or other medical software.

Pay Rate $30 - $33 - dependent on skills and experience.

Parking is provided at all locations.

Must have full working rights to working in Australia. Sponsorship not available.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
