**About Us**
Established in 2016, My Emergency Doctor is Australia’s first nationally available telemedicine service exclusively staffed by emergency physicians. All consulting physicians are Fellows of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEMs). We are the largest private employer of FACEMs in Australia.
We work with Australian ambulance services, hospitals, Primary Health Networks, urgent care centres, and the general public to provide access to specialist medical advice via video or telephone consultation.
**The Opportunity**
We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our expanding team. The primary purpose of the Office Manager is to provide high quality administrative support to the Executive team and Medical Clinical Council ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing a high-level administrative service.
You will be the central link between all teams in an innovative, inclusive and vibrant environment. Your role will be varied, covering tasks such as:
- Office administration and facilities management including liaison with building management to manage security passes and ad hoc building issues/maintenance
- Management of external supplier accounts and liaison with finance for account payments
- Maintain kitchen and stationery supplies as needed
- Arranging couriers and management of Australia Post account
- HR administration - onboarding and offboarding management
- Inbox and calendar management for Medical Clinical Council (currently a team of 3 doctors)
- Administrative support to the Financial Controller and in relation to Board level tasks (arranging couriering of Board documents, co-ordinating events with the Board as required etc)
- Assisting with marketing campaigns, events, sourcing venues etc
**Relevant Skills and Experience**
- Previous office management experience, ideally within a start-up environment
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Relates well to others in a confident and persuasive manner
- Adapts and responds well to change and can manage competing priorities.
- Works strategically to realise organisational goals and flexibly to meet the needs of a business with a global workforce operating 24/7, 365 days per year
- Strong organisational skills used to set objectives and plan activities in advance.
- High attention to detail and able to maintain data entry accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge and understanding of emergency health care system in Australia, desirable but not essential.
