**The Role**:
We have a great opportunity for you to join us as a Quality Team Member based in Richlands - QLD. This role is predominately afternoon shifts.

Reporting directly to our Quality Manager, the purpose of your role will be to drive and implement the quality and food safety agenda within the Packaging Services Division. You will be responsible for conducting & supporting the following:

- _Conducting_
- Routine testing of preforms and closures, and the reporting of failures
- Investigations into operational non-conformances and customer complaints
- Routine audits to ensure compliance to relevant standards
- Implementing processes to support quality and food safety activities
- Develop initiatives to support quality and process improvements
- Implementation of New Products and trials
- Maintenance of the Quality and Food Safety management system
- Reporting on key quality and food safety KPIs
- _Supporting_
- Deliver quality and food safety related training
- The development of initiatives to reduce customer complaints
- GMP and cleaning programs and laboratory best practice
- The implementation of the Environmental, Food Safety, Quality and Safety systems and programs
- Assist in internal and external audits across Environmental, Food Safety, Quality and Safety New product development

**Career Experience & qualifications**
- 2 - 5 years experience in quality assurance and/or process roles
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven safety accountability
- Preferably experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing/Packaging Technology
- Experience in HACCP, Quality Systems or Food Safety is required
- Experience in Environmental and Safety Systems is beneficial
- Internal auditor certification is beneficial
- High degree of computer literacy required
