Billing and Collections Team Leader
- ** Victoria**

Healthscope's Victorian Centralised Billing and Collections Hub is looking to employ a Billing and Collections Team Leader to join their busy team. In this challenging role, you will take on a supervisory role in the co-ordination of Billing and Collections administration and provide support and mentorship to the team. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work both autonomously and within a team to achieve individual and team objectives.
- The role is based at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre, Glen Waverley and is Full Time- Key Responsibilities will include:
- Lead and provide exceptional billing and collection service in line with OneHealthscope approach
- Ensure efficient workflow processes are followed and team performance KPIs are reported and maintained
- Efficiently manage internal and external stakeholder queries and effectively communicate and liaise with internal and external departments
- Support ongoing change management where required
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records via webPAS
- Selection Criteria includes:
- Experience in overseeing the running of a department including staff training, reporting and data analysis
- Knowledge of private Health Funds, Public, DVA, WorkCover and Third Party contracts and eligibility interpretation
- Experience in Health Fund and Insurer Billing
- Relevant debt collection/accounts receivable experience
- Knowledge of webPAS patient management system
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
