The Audit Senior is responsible for supporting the Risk and Assurance Services team to ensure that the team, business and strategic objectives are met through delivering a range of assurance services. This position has a direct responsibility for a portfolio of clients and undertaking audit engagements in accordance with our quality control policies and procedures.

Task & Responsibilities

- Liaise directly with clients including arranging and attending audit planning meetings, audit closing meetings and Committee or Board Meetings
- Identification of key audit matters and financial reporting risks that may impact the client's business or industry and ensure these are addressed by the audit strategy
- Identification and communication on audit issues and potential audit adjustments
- Review and resolution of client issues raised throughout the audit or escalation within the team
- Conduct first reviews of audit engagement files
- Preparation and review of Financial reports
- Provide on the job training and supervision, and mentoring for less-senior team members

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting
- CA or CPA qualifications finalised or in progress
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar role

Salary: $80000-90000
