**We seek a suitably qualified individual to assist in the development and implementation of reserves maintenance programs within the City of Melville,** including the Turf and Horticultural maintenance of reserves, horticultural plant and machinery pre-starts, operations, and maintenance. As well as responsibilities in the following areas;
- The supervision, development of daily activities of reporting staff.
- Assisting with effective people management through probation reporting and personal development plans.
- Responsible for the provision of training and assessment of plant and equipment competencies of team members.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Certificate III Horticulture, Turf qualification or equivalent trade certificate and experience in relevant position.
- White Card.
- Current MR Class Drivers Licence.
- Current HR Class Drivers Licence

**Other skills**:

- Demonstrated experience in the safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Considerable practical experience in Turf and Horticultural maintenance.
- Previous supervisory experience within a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in pest, disease and weed identification.
- Experience in identifying minor reticulation issues.
- Sound knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
