**Your new role**
Reporting to the Head of Power Systems, the Manager System & Network Planning is responsible for leading an integrated approach to system and network capacity planning,
- Providing leadership, mentoring, & professional development to the System Network Planning team.
- Develop, implement, & own frameworks for the identification, analysis & planning of Energy systems across the HP network.
- Provide planning & engineering for hosting capacity determination & release for a two year look ahead period.
- Responsible for the effective management of the System Network Planning team budget.
- Coordinate & solicit input from regions & commercial services on capacity management and planning & incorporate it into framework, policies & criteria & manage development & maintenance of planning criteria.
- Responsible for the provision of services & strategic thinking to support the development & ongoing management of power system control philosophies, including removal of hydrocarbons, transition to renewable generation, & adoption of high levels of DER.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- A degree in electrical engineering or other relevant engineering qualification.
- Extensive experience in delivering network planning solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in an Engineering leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of energy systems including, Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution & Renewable Energy Systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of the WA energy market.
- Demonstrated ability in managing a diverse group of internal & external stakeholders.
