**About the role**:
This is a fast-moving cybersecurity environment and role, this role has variety and impact on the business on a daily basis

This is a ‘hands on’ role, and you will be responsible for the Systems and Infrastructure of business operations, including the people management.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead your team to ensure that standards and procedures are in place for the department, includes establishing, writing, and distributing governance that is already in place.
- Maintain monitoring solutions access the environment to assist with supporting 24/7 business operations
- Design, configure and install reliable operation computer systems, network servers, and virtualization, including supporting firewalls to ensure network security
- Procure equipment such as routers or switches, to provide the best possible efficiency in an office IT infrastructure
- Manage and maintain of the operational system environment (Microsoft 365, Linux)
- Responsible for the database management, including the monitoring the operations security and performance of our infrastructure systems.
- Lead your team to ensure that standards and procedures are in place for the department, includes establishing, writing, and distributing governance that is already in place
- Scope, design and deliver best practice projects that are cost efficient and within budget, to support Red Piranha’s strategic goals
- Ability to convey security concepts, best practice, and ideas to all stakeholders of the business.
- Work with team leaders to develop reporting and provide reports to senior management on business operations.
- Establish working relationships with vendors

**About you**:

- 4 + experience as a Systems / Infrastructure Manager or similar capacity
- Solid background of successfully provisioning, managing and maintaining servers infrastructure in large environments
- Experience working and projects to deliver technological innovate solutions
- Experience with Windows Servers variants - troubleshooting and lifecycle management
- Strong skills with and experience Linux, Bash Scripting
- Strong people management experience, to ensure competing deadlines and priorities are met by the teams you manage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, and be a critical & analytical thinker with exceptional planning and organisation skills
- Strong analytical thinking, written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Ability to drive productivity and efficiencies in the business, whilst still serving as a valued team member

**Clearance Requirements**:

- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Police Clearance
- Must have full Australian working rights.
