**About the role**
We are looking for an organised, reliable and enthusiastic team player to join Mcleans Freight Service as a Van Delivery Driver.
**Could this be you?**
Located in Murwillumbah, your role as a Delivery Driver will be to deliver and collect parcels safely and efficiently.
In your typical day as a Van Delivery Driver, you will be:
- Working in a supportive team environment and being proactive in finding solutions to improve service
- Striving to deliver parcels accurately and within time schedules to meet business goals
- Manually loading and unloading parcels from your van
- Using handheld scanners to update and record delivery data
- Driving your vehicle in a safe manner and comply with safety policies
**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a delivery, warehousing or similar role
- Ability to learn and understand new technology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process
- Positive attitude and can adapt quickly to change
- Effective communicator with interpersonal skills
- Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
**About McLeans Freight Service (MFS)**
Established in 1992, MFS is a rapidly expanding business based on the Northern Rivers of NSW since 1992. We have a team of over 60 people, with a network base from the NSW/QLD border, south to Evans Head and west to the Border Ranges, and we are still expanding with 2 depots located in Lismore and Murwillumbah. We are the last mile solution for some of Australia’s national leading transport companies.
**Important**
Please note - this role is a casual role, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays available dependent on business needs.
Successful applicants will be required to provide a driver history check and be willing to undertake a national police check.
