To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a
**General Manager Health, Safety and Environment** to join our team.

**The Role**
Reporting to the
**VP HSE & Transformation**, the purpose of the General Manager Health, Safety & Environment is to provide strong leadership across the function.

This will include direct management of a large group of health, safety & environment and geomatics professionals. Identify forward activity schedules for the organisation and work with key stakeholders to understand work load requirements, and then allocated personnel resources accordingly in order to get efficiencies from the function.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**In addition you will**:

- Demonstrate strong leadership capability and influencing skills.
- Identify and implement efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Work across the company to influence behaviours, provide strong guidance and direction in order to get positive behaviours and HSE performance.
- Design and implement the HSE assurance framework and be the principal focal point for governance of HSE matters in Arrow.
- Development, delivery and ownership of both internal and external programs including but not limited to; Assist and Assure, Visible Safety Leadership, Project HS&E, Technical Environment and Compliance, Carbon, Process Safety, Land Transport, Mental Health & Well-being, Incident Management & Investigation, Occupational Health & Hygiene, Aviation & Marine Safety, Security, Operational Safety and Safer Together & APPEA Programs.
- Strong governance support to drive ongoing implementation of the Arrow process HSE strategy, and support to the implementation of the process safety related standards to achieve required HSE risk outcomes.
- Maintain a highly functional Geographic Information System (GIS) that provides integrated, timely and accurate services for accessing, analysing and representing spacial data.
- Develop and implement a GIS transformation strategy that positions Arrow’s spacial data systems and workflows as the most competitive and respected in the CSG industry with strong user acceptance across the business.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safety environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.

**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to lead high performing teams with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
