**The Role**

In this role you will be responsible for leading a team who support the management of risk and compliance obligations, and delivery of assurance services, relating to the provision of personal financial advice and services by Rhombus Advisory, its Licensees and its Authorised Representatives.

This role involves the ongoing monitoring, investigation, and coaching/education of Authorised Representatives to adhere to Rhombus Advisory advice governance and assurance frameworks and professional standards across Rhombus Advisory Licensees.

Reporting to the CEO, you will play a key role in the leadership team and contribute to a high performing culture that values hands on leaders, problem solvers and entrepreneurial minds who want to make a difference.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Continuously improve and manage Rhombus Advisory, Advice Assurance and Governance Frameworks
- Develop and execute an Advice Audit Schedule for timely monitoring and supervision of all Authorised Representatives
- Investigate, analyze and assess specific advice events through targeted reviews
- Deliver recommendations and track remedial actions to ensure Rhombus Advisory's Authorised Representative's operate in line with expected standards
- Design and implement sustainable business controls to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Advocate and promote strong 1st Line of defence practices and procedures

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:

- Solid Legal/Risk background within financial advice industry
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, legislative change and the Advice Process
- Operational experience in managing teams and effectively implementing advice solutions and services to clients
- Proven track record delivering complex projects and change management
- Advanced commercial acumen and the ability to consider multiple viewpoints
- Ability to proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Tertiary qualification in Law, Business highly regarded
