We're seeking an
Advice Risk and Governance Officer
to join our Professional Standards team. In this role, you'll support advisers and their teams across Count-owned AFSLs, providing guidance, reviewing documentation, and assisting with risk monitoring. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and make a real impact in a supportive, forward-looking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to professional standards and compliance enquiries from advisers and support staff.
  • Review and process approval requests, including advice documents and marketing materials.
  • Assist with incident, breach, and complaints management, maintaining accurate records.
  • Contribute to Advice Risk Indicator (ARI) monitoring by investigating alerts and escalating issues as needed.
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs and guidance to advisers and staff.
  • Assist with improving advice documentation and standards in line with regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with Managers and the Senior Manager, Advice Risk and Governance, on escalations and projects.

Key Skills and Experience

  • An interest in compliance, governance, or financial advice, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to assist colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative when seeking feedback and guidance.
  • Tertiary qualification (completed or in progress) in any discipline.
