**Responsibilities**:
The Azure Compliance team is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Technical Program Manager to manage specific Azure’s compliance audit workstreams. The Technical Program Manager will lead and manage projects with multiple stakeholders within Azure as well as our external customers to understand compliance requirements and operationalize solutions to scale and maintain certifications and all regulatory requirements that applies. The role will be to operationalize the evidence/artifact compliance team that will support certification audits across multiple Microsoft Online Service’s engineering teams.
- You will help others as they design technical solutions. You will also identify risks, escalating them to senior levels when needed.
- Based on success criteria, you’ll help others develop and implement features for cross-functional projects. You’ll begin to understand how to collaborate and ensure alignment across teams.
- Under supervision, you will help others adhere to roadmap for single features, track project schedules, manage staging and implementation, and comply with governance programs.
- You will help others drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with other departments to collect performance metrics.
**Qualifications**:
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 1+ years experience compliance audit that support engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- 1+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team compliance projects.
**Additional / Preferred Qualifications**:
- 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team project
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience with security control frameworks e.g., SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls), PCI (Payment Card Industry), ISO (ISO: International Standards Organization), NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission), COBIT (Control Objectives for Information Technology)
- Experience throughout the complete audit/certification lifecycle.
- Demonstrated project management excellence in medium-large scale projects.
- Attention to detail and willingness to dive into technical details. Proficient written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting new and innovative technologies.
- Enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-driven, self-motivated, and resourceful.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple, disparate activities at once.
- Technical security and network background.
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and/or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification preferred but not required.
**Other Requirements**:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
