**Your Impact**

You will have a significant impact on how Australians consume non-alcohol beverages in the next few years by playing a crucial role in shaping the future growth of our billion-dollar business.

Reporting to the Head of Innovation & Portfolio, this role is responsible for identifying innovation opportunities for the business and driving the early stages of new product development. The Innovation Manager will provide strategic support for the development of an inspiring 3-year innovation pipeline to deliver Asahi Lifestyle Beverages’ portfolio strategy.

**The opportunity**:
Other key responsibilities include:

- Combine multiple skill sets, tools and methodologies from different disciplines to identify what space opportunities for innovation
- Review innovation strategy & projects and recommend changes/additions to strategy to create and maintain a long-term innovation pipeline that supports business growth ambitions
- Lead product innovation projects from opportunity identification through to concept validation
- Influence executive and senior management to support key innovation initiatives / strategy
- Develop trusted relationships across internal departments e.g. brand, category, finance, production, science and technology to ensure cross-functional team input into NPD projects
- Work with external suppliers during project development briefing stages, concept development progress and project costing

**About You**

With a strong track record of driving innovation and new product development within a large established organization, you have demonstrated ability to develop strategic innovation platforms and pipeline opportunities. With great planning and communication skills and being able to juggle a wide range of different stakeholders and their expectations, you have proven ability to influence and drive action working with cross functional teams.

- Degree qualified in relevant field (Business, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, etc).
- Commercial experience in FMCG
- Demonstrates a passion for understanding the consumer and their motivations.
- Exceptional Stakeholder management with proven ability to lead and work with others (internally and externally).
- Excellent communication skills
