**The Role**
We are looking for an experienced and qualified **Project Coordinator** to join Ventia and work on our Chevron contract. Reporting to the Site Superintendent on a 2:2 Roster, this role will see you working on Barrow Island and using your prior experience lead a team of supervisors to plan and execute scopes of work whilst keeping within the designated budgets and timeframe.

The role will primarily manage brownfield project works with some maintenance activities.

This is a full-time permanent position and will see you flying from Perth to Barrow Island on a 2:2 Roster (_with some flexibility_).

**Key duties, but not limited to**:

- Contribute to schedule development, Constructability reviews, engaging with stakeholders and reviewing scopes
- Review and approve workpacks and scopes as needed and ensure that execution hours are controlled effectively for assigned work to reduce cost and adhere to schedule
- Develop and promote initiatives to improve cost effectiveness on assigned work
- When developing work scopes Integrate input from all stakeholders, ensure that objectives are clearly defined, agreed and understood
- Manage changes during execution to control impact on safety, schedule, and cost. Discuss any schedule impacts or changes with Client Representative as required
- Maintain related internal and external communications with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Manage team to deliver scopes as per plans and to schedule, delivering training and coaching as required and working through roadblocks
- Contribute to a safe working environment and ensure that hazards are effectively identified and managed in the planning and execution of activities

**Requirements**:

- Australian Driver’s License
- Mechanical or Fabrication Trade Background
- Previous experience in Oil and Gas Projects or Maintenance Environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 5+ years in supervision or leadership roles
- Knowledge of LNG plant processes including safety, integrity and maintenance processes.
- Sound knowledge of planning and scheduling processes and experience understanding P6 schedules
- Strong computer skills with the Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening) and police check
