**About the role**

Sitting in our Banking, Treasury and Market Operations group, as a Reconciliations and Investigations officer you’ll be in working in a specialised and dynamic team who are responsible for resolving customer queries and requests relating to incorrect internet banking payments, external banking investigations and suspense account reconciliations of unmatched Debits and Credits.

You’ll also be investigating non fraud related chargebacks and customer card disputes, as well as handling general customer queries about the location of their missing funds - so if you like the sound of what you’ve read, we’d love to hear from you.

**About you**

You have a logical, analytical mind and an ability to be able to look holistically at a situation and work your way backwards as required. You’ll be guided by the ePayments code, BECS procedures and our work instructions to get things done. Whilst you don’t need to have extensive banking experience, it would be great if you have some understanding of transaction banking principles to really set up for success in this role.

When it comes to your work, you take a proactive approach to your role and you have meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills. You’re a quick learner and a team player with a can-do attitude who really enjoys a challenge.
