Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic business that is Australian owned and produces Australia’s leading breakfast products - Up & Go, So Good, and Australia’s favourite breakfast Weet-Bix.

We are currently searching for an experienced, dynamic and hands on Team Leader with strong people management, rostering experience and a focus on their team working safely and in unity. Waste management experience is highly regarded but not essential.

**You** will be responsible for**
- Daily management and coordination of tasks
- Organising and ensuring plans are in place for the team to action and clearly communicating what is required for the day.
- Rostering of the team and scheduling of external services
- Leading by example and assisting the team in all tasks
- Providing excellent customer service and willingness to support internal and external stakeholders/contractors
- Ensuring the waste team is working efficiently and safely at all times.

***About you**

You will have a background in maintenance or waste management and be a natural leader who is capable of jumping in and lending a hand.
- A positive attitude and drive to succeed and mentor your team to be their best
- A valid Forklift licence
- Supporting the team to be a cohesive unit and working safely
- Ability to identify any issues and to strategically deliver solutions
- Be honest, have integrity and reliability.
- Pollution incident response experience including Hazmat is highly regarded
- WHS knowledge highly regarded
