Inventory Officer
Golding is currently seeking an Inventory Officer to be based in our office located in Milton.
Golding is a successful mining, urban and civil infrastructure project management services business with projects and operations across Queensland and South Australia. We are reliable and cost effective, working hard to achieve successful outcomes for our clients by working with them in ways that create and deliver value.
The successful incumbent will be organised, have a proactive work style and have proven time management skills in a high-pressure environment. Experience in SAP will be highly regarded.
**The role requirements include**:
- Facilitate inventory addition requests for new items to the catalogue focusing on cataloguing standards and SAP configuration such that the inventory master data is as accurate as possible.
- Process inventory related transactions to help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Run Inventory Optimisaton projects
- Complete end of month reporting
- Provide training relating to inventory management and troubleshoot daily queries such that end users are able to use the inventory system in an efficient manner.
- Process MRP requisitions in a timely manner to ensure stock replenishment cycle.
- Maintain supplier Purchasing Info Records and Source of Supply for materials in SAP making amendments where necessary such that the MRP is as accurate as possible.
- Process corrections for invoice discrepancies in Esker relating to inventory materials such that vendors are paid in a timely manner.
- Update purchase orders and purchase requisitions where required to ensure efficient procure to pay flow.
- Problem solving and root cause analysis to better understand the causes of procure to pay hold ups for inventory purchase orders.
**Personal attributes and experience**:
- Tertiary / post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Understanding of SAP inventory module.
- Knowledge and experience in a similar role.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Demonstrated strong drive, energy and work efficiency.
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships.
- Demonstrated efficient computer and administration skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced working environment.
