As we continue our transformation and growth journey across the region, we are now looking to appoint an Inventory Control Technician for our Operations team in Hemmant, Queensland. The rostered hours will be from 1pm-9:30pm working in the Hemmant 1 warehouse.

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will compile and maintain records of physical and virtual product inventories via daily activities of cycle counting, investigate claims and accounts administration within the facility.

You will also manage data concerned with, receiving, storing, issuing, and releasing products for/from the facility.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Maintain inventory accuracy and other records.
- Investigate damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
- Locate product to ensure correct product ID, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories.
- Review stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorised substitutes, and other listed information with manuals, product lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of outbound orders.
- Review files to find unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
- Operate licenced and non-licenced MHE, including scissor lift to 10m.

Key skills/experience will ideally include:

- Experience preferred in operation of inventory systems, procedures and operational practices.
- Experience preferred in planning and executing stocktakes.
- Experience preferred with liaising with customers regarding inventory processes
- Strong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality, and legality issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service, problem solving and influencing skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, WMS, TMS)
- Strong analytical skills
