**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- This is a Full Time role.
- Monitor stock levels on a regular basis. Run materials resource planning (MRP) on a minimum of a weekly basis to assist with ordering from overseas suppliers and production planning.
- Prepare purchase orders to overseas suppliers for manufacture and shipment primarily via sea freight. Co-ordinate all import documentation. Complete landed costings on shipment arrival.
- Create and maintain inventory codes (Item Master Data) for items in SAP ensuring descriptions, pricing, purchasing data, sales data, inventory data, planning data, unit of measure and packing information is input and accurate.
- Create and/or link BOM’s if relevant.
- Update and maintain pricing.
- Assist with forecasting our stock requirements.
- Co-ordinate stock counts, stocktakes and reconciliations to ensure integrity.
- Accurate and timely communication with our Sales, Management, Warehouse and Accounts teams about stock levels, new products, arrival, and status of shipments.

**The Person**:
**The Ideal Applicant**:
- Degree qualification in Business, preferably Accounting.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong inventory management experience.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and strong understanding of inventory systems. SAP experience would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programmes & intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong computer literacy, including the ability to learn internal systems.
- Organised and experienced at prioritising a dynamic workload
- Able to be flexible and agile
- Mandarin language skills preferred to liaise effectively with major suppliers based in China.
