Product Owner needed for digital transformation project for 6 months. WFH Hybrid role.

**Your new company**

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Product Owner to work on a Digital Transformation project for a NSW Government Organisation based in Sydney. This role offers very flexible working with the need to be on site only 2 days a month.

**Your new role**
- Lead and work closely and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to understand the business goals, metrics and strategy and incorporate this into product planning.
- Define and maintain an outcome-oriented product roadmap, gather customer insights and feedback, define success metrics, ensure customer-centric product design and delivery.
- Work closely with the organisational change manager/change analysts on deliverables identified in the change management strategy.
- Work in an agile delivery methodology.
- Make day to day decisions to enable the development team to move quickly through product iterations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong experience in Digital Product environments and ideally have worked in an Education environment and with education stakeholders.
- Creativity and simplifying complex processes and issues, problem-solving and process.
- Ability to elaborate a product vision into a technology roadmap, and communicate to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals for individual sprints.
- Ability to innovate, adapt and grasp new skills and content
- Ability to work closely with key stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships whilst sometimes saying no.
- Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision-making
