This large government organisation is responsible coordination and delivery of educational services throughout all of NSW.
There is an immediate need for an experienced
**Product Owner** to work on a large online enrolment project.
Within the role the
**Product Owner** will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, leads and manages development and delivery of the online enrolment project workstream to enable product planning in response to business needs of the department users.
Within the role you will:
- Lead and manage stakeholder engagement to understand business goals, business metrics and strategy.
- Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and problem management.
- Lead the prioritisation and evaluation of the work generated by the development team.
- Work closely with the development team for sprint planning, showcases, retrospectives and other Agile meetings.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear to all.
- Lead and manage project team members to deliver business requirements, quality assurance, test coordination and training.
To be successful you will need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Project Management or relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Product Owner experience in large, complex organisations in an Agile environment.
- 2+ years of experience in the workings of educational practices, policies and trends.
- Polished communications and stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
