**We are looking for a Digital Fraud Detection & Prevention Specialist**
MyState has adopted the 3 lines of defence model, This is a second line role and reports to the Senior manager Fraud Risk and Financial Crime, who in turn report to the MyState limited CRO.
**About the role**
The position Digital Fraud Detection and Prevention Specialist will facilitate and monitor the implementation of effective risk management practices, including but not limited to monitoring specific risks such as noncompliance with applicable codes and regulations. The role is responsible for monitoring, analysing, investigating online activity for the detection and prevention of fraud, including development and management of risk management controls via technology platforms that support the digital customer facing platforms.
**In this role you will be responsible for second line oversight for the following**
- Building Organisational Awareness on digital Fraud
- Fraud investigation
- Claims Management
- Third Party management
- Reporting
- Regulatory interactions
- Line 2 Assurance Testing
- Guiding the implementation of the Digital fraud detection and prevention tools
**To be successful, you should have**:
- Demonstrated experience in providing advice and training in respect to fraud and financial crime risk based matters.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive data analysis
- Sound technical understanding of industry codes of practice and legislation including AML/CTF legislation, e-Payments code requirements and privacy principles.
- An advanced knowledge of the prevention and detection systems used in the operation of the Risk Business Unit
- A strong commitment to keep abreast of emerging industry threats through on-going professional development.
- Well-developed problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to write succinct management and Board committee papers
